2K representatives made a new announcement in which they officially shared a message about the removal of Hulk Hogan from the WWE 2K16 game. 2K representatives spoke with Polygon, the video game company of Vox media, shared this news about the character of WWE 2k16: Hulk Hogan. They said in their statement
“We are highly respectful of the way that our partners choose to run their business and manage our partnerships accordingly,” the spokesperson said. “We can confirm that Hulk Hogan will not appear in WWE 2K16.”
So their statement made it clear Hulk Hogan is officially removed from the WWE 2K16 game, but upon asking whether Hulk Hogan will be removed or will stay there on other previous versions of the 2k franchise, they did not responded much on it, they simply said they do not have any further announcement except what they had just made.
WWE has also fired the WWE superstar Hulk Hogan following the news reported in National Enquirer, Radar Online and TMZ in which Hogan is describing himself a “racist” and constantly using the n-word. It is all recorded in a tape which news channels are telecasting.
WWE also removed the Hulk Hogan completely from their website too, they drop down all info related to Hulk Hogan including his bio. If you now click on that link it displays “You are not authorized to access this page”. Not just from the website, they have faded him away from hall of fame too, in which Hulk Hogan was included in 2005. Additionally, gears and products featuring Hulk Hogan is no longer available on WWE shop.
